Reflections on a city

What an incredible city to live in for a week. I have to say that we have truly enjoyed our time here. We were coming home on the tube and realized one would not need a car in England at all. The tube and train system will get you almost everywhere. We also talked about how someday we would like to bring out kids here and then tell them we sat in a pub and talked about how we would like to bring our kids here someday. Just an amazing city to walk around and see everything there is to see. When we were in the pub last Wednesday after lunch with Pat and people from his work - Richard asked what we had done and we told him. Richard lives about a 1/2 hour outside of London City and when we told him what we had done, he said he hadn't done as much as we had in the city. He in fact had never been on the London Eye and would like to do it. We take our cities for granted sometimes, St. Louis has so much to offer and we never do those things or rarely do them, only when visitors come into town. Just some thoughts.
